PRESENTATION OF THE RALLY
This second edition of the MARBELLA GRAND PRIX organized from May 17 to 21, 2023 is a motorized tour open to oldtimers sports vehicles and modern GTs.
This Tour is absolutely not a sports event and only makes sense within a recreational context.
Its purpose is to allow automobile enthusiasts and collectors of vintage vehicles to run their vehicles in optimal safety conditions. It also promotes meetings between neophytes and car enthusiasts by discovering the landscape, architectural, cultural and gastronomic heritage of the regions crossed.
The tour is organized so that each participant, regardless of the age and capacity of their vehicle, can complete the route in good safety conditions. It takes place on open roads, in compliance with the Highway code, with the concern not to disturb the tranquility of local residents.
The departure of participants is staggered so as not to interfere with road traffic.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR
The «Marbella Grand Prix» consists of a navigation tour of approximately 600 km over 3 days after a registration day, mapped out on the public road, in which the participants use a classic road book.
We chose the most beautiful scenic routes for this. It is definitely not a speed race. The participants are requested to always observe the traffic regulations and to be extra careful within the built-up area and play areas.
The crew of the vehicles consists of two people, the driver and the co-pilot navigator.
If you wish to bring more than 2 persons in your vehicle, these must be booked as an extra, for insurance, accommodation and catering.
PLANNING OF THE TOUR
• Registration: registration is open from May 1st, 2022 until April 1st, 2023 or until the maximum number of registrants set at 20 vehicles is reached.
• Welcome and checks: the administrative checks will take place 2 weeks before the event.
• Rally program: the general rally program is available in the 'Program' menu. The detailed schedule will be announced during our participants' meeting and available in the roadbook distributed before departure.
Participants are responsible for their supply of gasoline or electrical energy, oil and water. Various electric supply points are available in or near most hotels.
In the event of an unforeseen obstacle on the route, a detour route will be set up by the organizer to bring the participants back on the right road. The GPS coordinates of each stop will be communicated.
VEHICLES AUTHORIZED TO PARTICIPATE
Are allowed to participate: sports vehicles from 1960 in very good condition (capable of swallowing up the kilometers in the mountains) as well as all GTs or modern sports cars with thermal or electric propulsion. If you have any doubts about the eligibility of your vehicle, contact us.
The number of vehicles allowed to take the start is set at a maximum of 20 cars in order to preserve the conviviality of this hike and the exclusive character.
In case of higher registrations, a waiting list will be established or another departure date proposed. Registrants will be personally notified.
Pre-registration can be done online or via the PDF paper form downloadable at the bottom of the REGISTRATION menu.
The printed registration form must be returned in its entirety (2 pages), duly completed and signed, by email to email@example.com
Upon receipt of your form, we will send you an acknowledgment of receipt by email and will launch the rest of the personalized registration procedure which you will also receive by email.
The name of the crew will appear on the registration forms as well as on the list of participants but if you do not wish to appear for personal reasons, no worries. Departures will be made in the order of registration or according to the age of your vehicle. If you want to start with a particular group of participants, please let us know by email no later than 14 days before departure. We will try to respond to your request.
The organization reserves the right to refuse registration without having to justify its decision.

€3,250 (or £3,000) per person on an ALL-INCLUSIVE formula, or €6,500 (£6,000) per complete car.
€2,600 same formula but with only 1 night hotel in Granada at Alhambra Palace (compulsory) without the 3 nights hotels in Marbella or € 5,200 per car.

In order to guarantee and confirm your commitment as well as the options without penalizing the other candidates, we ask you to pay the amount in EUR corresponding to the conditions set out in your registration document with a minimum of 30% of the total amount as a deposit. within 48 hours by free transfer to the account provided.
A second deposit of at least 50% no later than 120 days before the event.
The balance of 20% maximum must be paid no later than 60 days before the date of the event.
A reminder for each installment will be sent to you by email 14 days before each deadline.
For any request for a specific invoice or payment in another currency, please contact us beforehand.
Registrations and payments are closed 60 days before the event or until 20 registrations are reached.
By the organizer :
In case of cancellation by the organizer for reasons beyond his control (sanitary reasons, disasters, quota of participants not reached... for example), the participants will be personally contacted in writing and the event will be postponed to a date later.
By the participant :
In the event of cancellation by the participant :
• Up to 120 days before the event = refund of 70% of the registration fee.
• From the 119th day and up to 15 days before the event = reimbursement of 50% of the registration amount.
• From 14 days before the event = NO refund.
The transfer of the registration or change of vehicle free of charge remains possible until 48 hours before the event after acceptance (of form) of the new participant.
Any cancellation request must be made in writing by email or via the contact form even if a first telephone contact is established. You will receive confirmation of receipt within 24 hours. The date of receipt will prevail in the calculation of the reimbursement.
Any refund will be made by the same means of payment as received. This means: payment received by bank transfer = reimbursement by bank transfer to the same account.
AUTO TRANSPORT OPTION
Reaching Marbella by road, the starting and ending point of our rally, is quite possible either by taking your time by various rural routes or more quickly via the excellent Spanish road network.
However, if you decide to let us organize the transport of your ancestor or GT while you travel by air, we can offer you advantageous rates negotiated with the carrier ANNATRANS who are used to collaborating with our company.
Your vehicle will be transported in an uncovered truck from the carrier's depot in Mouscron or to another address if grouped shipment. I will be dropped off in the secure car park of your first hotel in Marbella a few days later before your arrival on May 17th.
Upon your arrival at Malaga airport, you will be met by our representative who will take you there.
Your bulky luggage can be placed in your car while it is being transported.
On your return, your vehicle will be loaded from your last hotel and brought back to Belgium after a few days to the place of collection.
PERMANENT SUPPORT AND WELCOME
From the first day of your arrival, May 17 until the last day May 21, our multilingual team (EN, FR, DU and SP) will be present to welcome you and accompany you in all your steps during each step.
You will benefit from a separate check-in in each hotel visited where we will take care of all the administrative procedures for you while you enjoy a glass of bubbles.
A porter will take care of transferring your luggage to your room where you will find special attention on each arrival.
In addition, a dedicated WhatsApp group will be at your disposal to contact us 24 hours a day in the event of an urgent problem.
You will stay in the 5* hotels mentioned in the ‘Program’ menu, most of them members of The Leading Hotels of the World, a guarantee of elegance, quality and luxury. All establishments have swimming pools, SPA and fitness centers, golf…
We have reserved the most beautiful rooms for you, whether in Double Deluxe or Junior Suites. If you would like a room with twin beds, a third or single bed or even a cot (with supplement), please specify this when submitting your registration file.
You will find for your comfort in most rooms: a terrace with a view, a bathroom with bath and separate shower, fine Egyptian cotton sheets, a Nespresso coffee machine, a mini bar fridge, a safe , 24-hour room service…
CATERING IN ALL IN FORMULA
We have imagined for this rally, in comparison with other circuits offered by other agencies, the most complete and comfortable formula possible for all our participants. Our choice was therefore oriented towards an all-in (=all-inclusive) formula including all meals, drinks at the table, open bar during evenings (if mentioned), water in cars and rooms.
The times and details of the various meals will be communicated to you upon your arrival at the latest. If you follow a special diet (halal, koscher, vegan, gluten-free, etc.), please let us know when you register. We will take this into account and offer you gourmet alternatives.
Breakfasts are in the form of copious and very varied buffets as well as show cooking in each hotel visited.
For midday lunches along the way, we have emphasized regional products and an eco-responsible approach. You will be able to taste the best olive oils, cold meats, cheeses, meats or fish, wines... AOC of Spain...
Evening dinners, preceded each time by an aperitif or a cocktail of bubbles, will take the form of buffets or gourmet dinners with a minimum of 3 courses orchestrated by renowned chefs in a setting original or exclusive.
A lively evening including an open bar will punctuate your day (if mentioned).
On the sidelines of your rally which will make you discover every day the magnificent landscapes of the Andalusian hinterland, the winding roads of the Sierras, we will offer you a selection of activities and exceptional visits, accessible to everyone.
In any order, you will go to an area dedicated to Bullfighting, access the closed area of Puerto Banus for an impromptu cocktail, attend a Polo match, visit an emblematic monument of Granada, pilot your GT in complete safety on a deserted mountain road…*
We have of course not forgotten the festive side by organizing at each stage crazy evenings in renowned clubs: Mamzel… or during our, already famous, Closing White Party in a club close to the beach in Marbella…
Secure and guarded parking will be available at each hotel to watch over your vehicle. Electric charging slots are provided (subject to availability).
Optional: manual cleaning of your vehicle (paying).
GT PACK OPTION
We only offer for our registered participants in the rally, a package including: the provision of 3 GT provided by our local rental partner SUPERGARAGE.
You will have the opportunity to test 1 different GT every day among the FERRARI, LAMBORGHINI, PORSCHE... The brands and models mentioned ARE GIVEN AS EXAMPLES. We offer vehicle categories without any certainty of receiving a specific model.
Included : insurance, normal daily mileage to complete the route and daily cleaning.
Not included: fuel (the vehicle must return to the hotel every day with the same starting level or full).
The minimum age of the driver is set at 30 years, driving license for at least 8 years. A derogation is possible for certain vehicles with additional security deposit and deductible.
Every day small challenges will await the participants.
During the closing evening, many exceptional prizes offered by our sponsors will be drawn among the only participants. Last year our first price had a value of 5.000 € !
By registering, part of your registration fee will be allocated to a local social project. In addition, we are committed to offsetting your carbon emissions by participating in a reforestation program.
An Organization insurance policy will be taken out by the organizers guaranteeing the civil liability of the organization, as well as that of all the participants for the duration of the event. A copy can be obtained on request.
The participant remains solely responsible for material damage that may occur to his vehicle or to third parties, as well as for any damage caused by his vehicle, these being in no way the responsibility of the organization.
